With the aim of helping Davao-based companies get approved with their submissions, we, from Davao Portal Team, have come up the following (updated) submission guidelines to be followed:
1. Any Davao-based business is qualified for listing inclusion. That means, you have a legitimate business with physical address/office located in Davao Region or an online/web-based business owned/managed by Davao-based individuals/company.
2. As stated on our FAQs page (last item), a business with main office or headquarter outside Davao Region can qualify for inclusion provided it has a local office within Davao Region or has a representative that is residing or based in the area.
3. Businesses/companies with more complete information have better chances for inclusion. Thus, we recommended that you submit information that is more detailed as possible; 300-word content detailing your company information – e.g. company history, product or services you offer, images (such as logo), contact information (valid telephone/cel number, email, website/url) is ideal.
4. We cannot approve multiple submissions with the same content; if you want to add additional information about your business, just update the content you have already submitted.
5. In some cases, however, multiple submission might be necessary (e.g. company announcement, job posting, new product/service offer) and therefore we, from Davao Portal Team, allow its submission as a separate page (usually posted on Classified Ad category). A company that has opened a new branch or location in the region may also submit a business information for that branch as a separate page.
6. Davao Portal does not tolerate SPAM – we can spot it right away – and we do not approve it. This is to maintain the credibility of the content of other companies posted here, which are legitimate. Moreover, it is our prime goal to provide useful/beneficial information to our growing number of readers as much as possible; thus, we scrape out submitted content right after it is confirmed as spam.
7. Lastly, we encourage companies who aspire for inclusion to submit content that is unique as possible as this will help your listing land higher on search engine results page, which is important when your target users/prospects who use search engines (e.g. Google, Yahoo!, Bing) to find your company info.
