Aeon Towers, dubbed as “the most iconic building project” in Davao City to date, is set to break ground on May 30, 2013 (Thursday), marking the start of the construction of this 33-storey mixed-use landmark — the tallest structure in the region when finished — rising along J.P. Laurel Avenue, near the Ayala Complex.
During the press briefing, where DavaoPortal was one of the invited guests, it was disclosed that this 2.5 billion-worth project will have both residential and commercial components. The first 5 levels will house commercial spaces, including a supermarket, restaurant, and BPO offices; 7th to 10th floor will be occupied by the hotel component, while the rest (11th to 26th floor) will be for the residential use, which will have 473 condominium units. The 29th floor (the 33rd floor from the basement), the Skydeck, is where the infinity pool will be built along with other facilities. The 4-level basement will be for the car park facility, which will have 300 parking slots.
Other amenities it offers include a function hall, fitness hub and spa, library, barbecue pit and grill, conference room, kiddy playroom, and a jogging path.
The building will also be equipped with state-of-the-art features — fiber optic ready for all units, the use of green building technology, and smarthome technologies.
The target project completion is second quarter of 2016.
