Blog Content Submission Guidelines

If you love Davao and if you have passion in writing, here’s another way you can share your content to the netizens – be part of the growing number of Davao Portal Blog contributors!

Here’s the blog submission guidelines:

1. You can write and submit about anything (about Davao) that you think matters to Davaoeños and the rest of the readers throughout the globe – you might want to feature certain tourist spots…or make a review of the newly-opened restaurant near you…or upcoming events in Davao!
2.  The content must be unique; in other words, has not been published anywhere else on the Internet.
3. At least 300 words and should be in English (but you can inject content in local dialect when necessary – Davao Portal editors will have the final say whether they’re good for posting or not).
4. You can put links to your content, provided they are relevant to the matter discussed (e.g. reference, additional information). SPAM content is strictly prohibited.
5. Include your bio (about the author) in your submission – this will be published at the bottom part of your content, indicating that you actually wrote and own the content. You can include links back to your portfolio or website you own – this is our way of giving due credit to our contributors (like you).
6. And, lastly, please note that we do not pay for any content contributed to us. This is purely for people who are passionate in writing and who are willing to share their content – FREE – to Davaoeños and to the rest of readers, worldwide.
